THEOLOGY WEEK (14 - 18 JULY 2014). This week will explore how biblical writers and characters lived with suffering and God - exploring the way they prayed and struggled to understand God from the midst of suffering. Each day takes a fresh topic and so participants may choose to study for the whole week or attend the days that most interest them.

The event is led by Revd Dr Andrew Angel who is the Vice Principal of St John's College, Nottingham. He preaches and teaches regularly in churches as well as contributing articles to learned journals. His books include Angels: Ancient Whispers of Another World (Eugene, OR: Wipf and Stock, 2012) and Playing with Dragons: Living with Suffering and God (Eugene, OR: Wipf and Stock, forthcoming).
